MyDD Learn · the game · ages 6–17

Until catching a confident wrong answer becomes a reflex.

Your kid earns stars for catching an AI in the act. MyDD Learn is a game where the characters bluff, flatter, and hallucinate on purpose, level after level, until spotting a confident lie stops being a lesson and starts being a habit.

Why a game

You can't lecture a kid into doubting a confident machine.

Only 35% of kids know AI can't reliably tell true from false, and even among the ones who say they know "a lot" about AI, just 37% get it right. You've probably already tried telling them not to believe everything it says, and watched it not land, because a warning is just words, and the machine sounds so sure. You don't fix that with a bigger warning label. You fix it by letting them get fooled in a safe place, catch it, and feel the win.

MyDD Learn is a driving instructor for AI. The kid drives. The instructor catches what they miss, until they catch it themselves.
How a level works

They type one question. The AI writes five sentences. One is made up.

That's Level 1·1, where every kid starts. Three rounds against Bao the Bewildering, a chatbot with a confident voice and shaky facts. Your kid decides what to trust.

1

Flag the sentence they think is made up.

An AI character answers a real question in five confident sentences. One is invented. Tap the ones that smell wrong, the card turns warning-red, and they can un-flag.

2

Check a source, free, no penalty.

What an outside source actually says drops in under any sentence. We never dock a star for verifying. The level teaches the opposite: check before you trust.

3

Push back, and watch what happens.

"Are you sure?" A confident AI almost never backs down, it invents more detail instead. That's the lesson they remember longer than any lecture.

Inside the game

Four worlds. Nineteen levels. A real chat they're the hero of.

Each world is built around one thing AI does badly, or does well, if you know how. Kids practice the habit inside a chat with a painted, named character. They don't read about it.

Build the skill

Built by two parents who went looking for this, couldn't find it, and made it, in Philadelphia. The same safety work behind MyDD Chat, which outscored every frontier model on the independent KORA child-safety benchmark.

Where the game leads

The game teaches the reflex. The chat is where it lives.

Your kid builds the first habit here, they learn to question it. But a habit needs somewhere to live once the levels end. That's MyDD Chat: the everyday AI they take their real homework to, built on the same instinct the game trained. The game gets them in; the chat is what keeps the skill sharp.
